ROWBARTON

At the time of writing, preparations are under way for our Harvest Festival celebration.  The letters of the word 'Harvest' have been shared out among various church groups and individuals, who have elected to design a window sill based on that letter.  Themes of Harvest Home, Abundance, Reaping, Vulnerability, Elements, Sharing and Tomorrow, are challenging our imagination and creativity! A little group of children at Monday Club will be delighted to be able to make lego tractors and harvest barns, whilst others will make harvest pictures from various types and colours of grain.

We have just held our first MINT (Mission in North Taunton) planning meeting for this year's Nativity on the Green.  This is a joint mission outreach from several of the churches in North Taunton, which last year attracted around 250 people to the event on St Andrew's Green.

MINT arranged for 'It's Your Move' booklets to be distributed to Year 6 students as they moved to secondary education from Priorswood, Norton Fitzwarren, Lyngford, Cheddon Fitzpayne, St Andrew's, Kingston St Mary and Staplegrove Primary Schools.
