If you have needed to flee for your own and your family’s safety............

If you have needed to flee for your own and your family’s safety, taking only what you can carry, even items we take for granted are precious. The Church Council meeting on 1st November decided to hold a Christmas Appeal for basic items to support refugees, especially those from Syria. The most needed items are toothpaste; toothbrushes; soap; small packets of tissues and small packets of raisins to go into children’s coat pockets; children’s scarves (hand-made or bought); NEW children’s pants for any age; NEW small (size 8 – 12) ladies pants and small or medium gents boxers.

If you would like to support, there is a box under ‘The Mix’ table in the Connect Room. This will be passed on to RAfT at the Old Auction House, Canal Street from whence it will start its journey to Syria. If you would like to know more about RAfT speak to Elaine Dew or see their facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/RefugeeAidFromTaunton/?ref=br_rs
